3 Power Snacks You Can Make In Less Than 5 Minutes

On busy mornings I don’t have much time but if I don’t eat something, by 9am my stomach will be rumbling louder than a drum. So when I only have 5 minutes until me and Alaska run out of the door, these are my go-to snacks I throw into some Tupperware and have after I’ve dropped Alaska off at nursery.

Blueberries, Almonds & Sunflower Seeds

  

Packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, fibre and magnesium, this snack is one of my favourites. It’s just sweet enough for my test buds to enjoy it almost as much as a bar of chocolate but without all the unhealthiness of it! And all you need to do is wash some blueberries, toss them, a handful of almonds and a handful of sunflower seeds into some Tupperware (or a bowl) and you’re ready to go!

Tomato, Almond & Basil Salad

  

This sald, full of magnesium, my favourite almonds and some fresh green leaves of basil, is perfect for a quick snack, morning or night. Tomatoes are full of magnesium and almonds have lots of B- complex vitamins which support the work of enzymes in the body. Basil works perfect with tomatoes and brings out their flavour. I usually add a tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper and mix it all.

Yoghurt, Berries & Tea

  
One of my favourite evening snacks is a bowful of berries like strawberries, blueberries and raspberries with some Onken yoghurt. I also like to drink green tea with it to boost the healthiness of this snack. 
These snacks also work as a good alternative to junk food when you just want to lay on the sofa and read Vogue after a long day at work. They will energise you and are super healthy and make your skin, hair and nails a dream!
